A native of Southern California, now residing in the North West, I’m blessed to bring a collection of works together for our very first CD project titled: “I Don’t Want To Be Lost.” I’m looking forward to seeing people being touched, blessed, and moved by these songs in a very special way. It was through contemporary gospel music that I was drawn to the Lord. Through a stage of events, the Lord has given me the gift of music and now, I want to share it with the world.
In the spirit of David vs. Goliath, “Defeated Giants” was written. This is a striking portrayal of good vs. evil. David remembered his history with God of past challenges and how God wrought victory through the hands of David. One of my latest songs, “Don’t Wanna Forget Ya,” is a song, with a simple message of when the Lord brings you out of a situation; you should always remember what He has done for you, and have a heart of thanksgiving.
My music influences are Andrae Crouch, Marvin Winans, Fred Hammond, Israel Houghton & New Breed, J. Moss, Alvin Fruga, Cheryl Barnett, Leon Patillo, Kristle Murden, Dennis E. Midgett, Roby Duke, Koinonia, The Archers, The McCrary’s, Commission, Denise Williams, Harland Rogers, and the Winans.
As a song writer, most of these songs are an outgrowth of my personal experiences with the Lord, life, and my interactions with people along the way. So, Be blessed by what you hear.
